CPA Financial Accounting
About Course
This course equips the learner with knowledge, skills and attitudes that enable them to prepare financial statements for different entities.
At the end of the course, the learner should be able to
- Prepare books of original entry and basic ledger accounts under double entry system
- Prepare basic financial statements of sole traders. partnerships, companies and manufacturing entities and not for profit organizations
- Comply with the regulatory framework in the accounting field
- Account for assets and liabilities
- Analyze financial statements by use of ratios and statement of cash flows
The course is built around the Kenyan principles of accounting, and should be able to guide learners through their preparation for their foundational level CPA Exams
